International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Zotefoams plc on its successful £20.6 million placing and the arrangement of a new £57.5 million debt facility. 

The equity raised and the new facility are intended to fund the planned capital investment of approximately £23 million in a new manufacturing facility in Central Europe and higher working capital associated with organic growth and product mix enrichment from higher margin high performance products sales, in addition to existing capital investment programmes in the UK and the USA.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the placing was led by Partner Jonathan King who was assisted by Associate Stuart Miller. The team that advised on the new debt facility was led by Partner Akmal Ghauri who was assisted by Associate Grace Durkin.

The joint bookrunners to the placing, Investec Bank plc and Arden Partners plc, were advised by Gowling WLG (UK) LLP.

The new debt facility was arranged by Handelsbanken Capital Markets, Svenska Handelsbanken AB (PUBL) and National Westminster Bank plc who were advised by Eversheds-Sutherland (International) LLP and Riverhill Partners.
