Osborne Clarke advises Sonae Sierra in its purchase of the majority shareholding of La Galleria S.r.l.

Sonae Sierra, the Portuguese multinational that manages 27 shopping centers worldwide, has announced its acquisition of the majority share of the company Galleria S.r.l, owner of the former covered market in Via Emilia San Pietro (RE), which will be transformed into an urban market with 17 new premises dedicated to food and wine and 350 seats. The deal that was completed on 14 November allowed the restructuring of the existing debt and the provision to the target company of the capital for the restyling of the historic property.

Sonae Sierra was assisted by Osborne Clarke, with a team led by the partners Umberto Piattelli for corporate aspects, Giorgio Lezzi for administrative matters and Filippo Canepa for the restructuring of the existing debt.
