Osborne Clarke advised ITELYUM, a national leader and international player in the management, recycling and valorisation of waste, in a further circular economy transaction, relating to the definition of agreements for the purchase of 60% of Ambiente Mare S.p.A. and Secomar S.p.A., companies operating in the prevention, cleaning and reclamation of port waters, as well as in the intermediation, storage, treatment and disposal of hazardous and non-classified special liquid and/or sludge waste, from both the industrial and port sectors.
With this transaction, the ITELYUM Group - already a leading player in the same sector in the port of Trieste following the acquisition, again advised by Osborne Clarke, of ITELYUM Sea FVG (formerly Crismani Group) - extends its presence to the port of Ravenna, consolidating its position in port and maritime services in the Adriatic.
Osborne Clarke's multidisciplinary team was led by partners Giovanni Penzo for corporate and civil law aspects and Giorgio Lezzi for public law aspects, with Myriam Ambrosio, Matteo Tracanella, Angelo Maria Quintieri, Laura Armellotti, Roberto Salis and Vincenzo Colasante.
ITELYUM acted with its managing director and general manager Marco Codognola, business development and M&A specialist Greta Rognoni and general counsel Laura Zanin.
