International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE on its investment in Media Partisans GmbH. With the investment Funke media group continues its digital expansion. Media Partisans founders Michael Glöß and Peter Schilling remain involved with a relevant share in the company.
FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE is Germany’s third largest publishing company and one of the largest European local media publishers focused on regional media as well as women magazines and program guides. In Germany the company publishes daily newspapers in Berlin, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine Westphalia and Thuringia. FUNKE is one of the leading magazine suppliers.
Potsdam-based company Media Partisans is the European leader for social media publications. Media Partisans runs, among others, the portal heftig.co as well as theme-specific portals in the area of life hacks, health & beauty tips and food.
