Osborne Clarke has advised Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (DAL) on the project finance for the construction of the SDE+ funded project Wind Farm Koningspleij with a capacity of 16.8 MW in the Gelderland region.
Wind Farm Koningspleij is a development of Pleij B.V. and consists of a total of four WTGs, of which three shall be owned and operated by Pleij B.V. in cooperation with Rijn en Ijssel Energiecoöperatie U.A. The fourth turbine will be operated by Raedthuys Pure Energie. This is the first financial close for a wind farm of the Dutch developer Prowind B.V., the initiator of Wind Farm Koningspleij and part of German Prowind Group. The construction is scheduled during the 1st quarter of 2021. Financial close was achieved in September (see also the Prowind press release). Wind Farm Koningspleij will provide clean energy for 11,000 households in the region.
