International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Cenkos Securities plc, in its capacity as nominated adviser and broker, on a secondary fundraise, by way of a placing with institutional investors and a separate subscription by a corporate investor, for Arena Events Group plc.
Arena is a provider of temporary physical structures, seating, ice rinks, furniture and interiors for major sporting, outdoor and leisure events, providing a managed solution from concept and design through to the construction and integration of the final structure and interior.
The proceeds from the equity fundraise, which consists of a £9.5 million placing and £1.5 million subscription, will be used by Arena to take advantage of opportunities presented by current market conditions to acquire undervalued assets, including the potential acquisition of Aztec Shaffer LLC.
