Sophie Chesterman

Sophie is an Associate in our Commercial team. She advises on a variety of commercial issues and is based in London.

Her work involves a range of commercial law matters, including digital regulation, artificial intelligence and e-commerce and consumer regulation.

Sophie trained at Osborne Clarke and qualified into our Commercial team in September 2024.

As part of her training, she spent six months on secondment at a large social media company. She assisted their in-house UK and EU e-commerce team with a range of regulatory issues including advertising, consumer and media law and general commercial contract support.

Helping you succeed in tomorrow's world

I volunteer as a mentor through the OC REACH Talent Programme, which involves partnering with university students from an ethnic minority background to develop a successful legal career.

I also support Osborne Clarke's charity initiatives, including raising money for our London charity partner UK Youth by running the London Marathon 2024.
