Phil is an expert in helping clients manage crises and resolve complex disputes. He has a particular focus on insurance issues; cyber incident management and disputes regarding data, privacy, technology and outsourcing.
Phil has over 20 years’ experience in advising international insurers, policyholders and intermediaries on complex insurance and reinsurance coverage matters. Phil also has extensive experience advising businesses from a variety of sectors and their insurers on the management of cyber incidents including issues such as cross-border regulatory notifications, responding to investigations, data subject claims and follow-on litigation with commercial counterparties.
He has also acted for a number of well-known technology and telecoms companies in relation to a variety of high value disputes, particularly matters arising from delayed and failed software implementation; IT infrastructure and outsourcing projects. He is a Solicitor Advocate and a member of the Society for Computers and Law. He is ranked in Legal 500 for Insurance Litigation.
