Lucas Mayr advises national and international companies in the areas of information technology and outsourcing.
Lucas specialises in advising and representing companies in complex IT projects as well as reviewing and drafting contracts for complex outsourcing projects.
In particular, he advises companies on licensing issues and on legal matters relating to the drafting, negotiation and implementation of software contracts and IT projects. In addition, Lucas specialises in IT Security Law, the regulatory and contractual aspects of AI implementation as well as tech M&As.
Before joining Osborne Clarke, Lucas studied German and International Law in Hamburg and New Delhi.
During his legal training, Lucas clerked at the specialised chambers for trademarks and industrial property rights matters at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWiE), as well as the IT practice group at an international law firm.
