Lara Stahlmann is an Associate in the practice group Banking & Capital Markets and advises clients on payment and banking markets law.
She advises international and national banks, financial institutions, payment service providers and FinTechs. Lara specializes in advising on issues related to payment transactions and banking as well as payment supervisory law.
Lara assists clients, inter alia, with the digitalisation of payment, financial services and banking products and is a member of Osborne Clarke’s Financial Services Sector.
Lara studied law in Bonn with a focus on banking and capital markets law and obtained her LL.M. degree from the Stellenbosch University, South Africa. During her legal traineeship in Cologne, she worked for, among others, the Chamber of Commerce Abroad Czech Republic in Prague.
Before joining Osborne Clarke as an associate in 2023, Lara gained experience in banking and capital markets law while already working as a research assistant and assessor at Osborne Clarke.
