José Manuel is member of the Tech, Media and Comms department.
He has experience in technology contracts relating to IoT solutions, transport technologies, data protection, software developer disputes, electronic identification and trust services. He has advised on intellectual property matters, where his prior professional experience as a musician gives him extensive knowledge of the audiovisual sector. He has also developed work on artificial intelligence in the healthcare field.
Prior to joining Osborne Clarke he worked in the renewable energy sector, where he advised energy producers and project developers on technology transfers, electronic trust services and information systems security.
José Manuel graduated in Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he obtained two postgraduate degrees, Master in Telecommunications, Data Protection, Audiovisual and Electronic Commerce Law and Master of Law. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association. José Manuel also graduated as a cellist from the Royal Conservatory of Madrid.
