Jo Bright is an Associate in the Financial Institution Group, with a particular focus on payments and consumer finance.
She has experience advising a diverse range of FinTech clients on matters related to the FCA Principles and Handbook rules, the Payment Services Regulations 2017, the Electronic Money Regulations 2017, the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the FSMA Regulated Activities Order.
Her recent work includes assisting clients with the preparation of regulatory authorisations and change in control applications and reviewing regulated mortgage documents for compliance with MCOB and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Jo has undertaken two in-house secondments, firstly to a fund management company that is a global leader in sustainable and impact investing, and more recently, to a FinTech providing a debit card and learning app for kids and teens.
