Francesca Velaj

Francesca has joined Osborne Clarke in 2023. She specialises in corporate law and merger and acquisition transactions.

The primary focus of Francesca's practice is transactions, both private equity and venture capital, across a number of sectors. She advises corporate clients, international private equity and venture capital funds, as well as investors and founders. She has recently coordinated a number of capital markets transactions.

Francesca has an experience in advising clients on commercial, financial, public aid, insurance, corporate disputes, reorganisations and day-to-day corporate matters. She also advises public companies and those listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, including NewConnect and delisting.

Francesca has prepared an innovative PhD thesis on the consolidation of Polish consumer law and has an academic experience at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She is an author of numerous scientific publications and a speaker at Polish and international conferences.
