Conrad Wandt advises shareholders, managing directors, and companies on all insolvency law issues.

With over ten years of experience in law firms specializing in insolvency administration and corporate restructuring, Conrad has particular expertise in the initiation and conduct of insolvency proceedings, in particular in the debtor-in-possession type of proceedings. He was appointed as an insolvency administrator until 2024 and has in the past been involved in restructuring proceedings for companies operating in the retail, healthcare, mechanical engineering and agricultural sectors.

Conrad Wandt studied law at Bucerius Law School Hamburg and at Willamette University / College of Law in Salem, Oregon, USA. During his legal clerkship, he completed stages in Hamburg, Berlin and Riga, Latvia.

He has been with Osborne Clarke since 2025 and is a member of the Norddeutsches Insolvenzforum e. V. Conrad is also involved as practice group leader of the Restructuring & Insolvency Section of the Bucerius Alumni Association.

Conrad is a co-author of the “Kommentar zum Privatinsolvenzrecht” by Dr. Andreas Schmidt (ed.), 3rd ed. 2024 (topics: judicial debt settlement; BerHG) and “Praxiswissen Insolvenz- und Restrukturierungsrecht (topic: preliminary insolvency administration)” by Wolters Kluwer.
