Abi is an Associate Director in our Financial Institutions Group. She has a particular focus on open banking, payments, e-money and fintech matters.
Abi works with a range of clients, including payment institutions, e-money institutions, account information service providers, payment initiation service providers, banks, fintechs and other financial institutions.
Abi advises on UK and EU financial services regulatory issues, including regulatory licensing, approvals and reporting, conduct of business rules, open banking standards, strong customer authentication obligations, safeguarding obligations, outsourcing requirements and unauthorised transactions and liability. She also advises on consumer credit and consumer protection requirements (including the Consumer Duty), the senior manager and certification regime and anti-money laundering legislation.
Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Abi worked at a large US law firm and in the Wallet, Payments and Commerce team at Apple.
