Virtual and augmented reality, AKA "immersive technologies", are well established for some applications and in some sectors (e.g. gaming, therapy or training). But there's a wide belief that these transformative technologies are still in the foothills and could eventually replace screen, keyboards, even our phones. And since these technologies are designed around virtual experiences and interactions between the physical and the digital, will they see a boost in the future post-pandemic world?
