NSIP’s and Housing Q&A

As part of our on-going reporting on the Government’s extension of the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) Regime to developments with ‘an element of housing’, we have published a Q&A article in the latest edition of the Planning Magazine.

During our recent discussions with the DCLG, it was confirmed that legislation is expected to be tabled in Autumn/Winter 2015, with the implementation to follow in 2016.

Given our considerable experience in both NSIPs and housing projects, the reforms represent a significant development for us and our clients and we will continue to watch with great interest.
