It’s been a jam-packed week for news and blogging at Osborne Clarke. On 6 May 2015 the European Commission published its “Digital Single Market Strategy for Europe“. The Commission’s proposals are aimed at producing a true digital single market, one with – in President Juncker’s optimistic words – “pan-continental telecoms networks, digital services that cross borders and a wave of innovative European start-ups”. Osborne Clarke’s experts across Europe have recorded their thoughts on the Commission will approach the many aspects of its DSM initiative.Visit our dedicated hub for insight into each of the topics

According to Government estimates 81% of large businesses and 60% of small businesses have suffered a cyber security breach in the last year. Cyber breaches can take a number of forms; threats from rogue employees, or inadvertent data loss can be as serious as those from organised criminals.
