An update on energy performance indicators

The requirement to show energy performance indicators on commercial advertisements for sale or rental of a building will, as of 6 April 2015, be the responsibility of the “relevant person” which is the person selling or renting that building. Further changes include periodical inspection of the entirety of certain air-conditioning systems rather than just inspection of ‘accessible parts’, revised fees for entering documents on the register and the replacement of small and medium data packs with a new regular data pack and changes to associated fees.
