Reforms to the Code - a guide to the changes brought in by the Product Security Telecommunications Infrastructure Act 2022

In this webinar for operators and landowners, Tom Bumstead and Chris Dent from our real estate disputes team will provide an overview of the changes to the Electronic Communications Code and operators' powers brought in by the PSTIA, focusing on:

the key changes that have been implemented (e.g. rights to upgrade/share, requirements to engage in alternative dispute resolution and interim payments on Code renewals);

• a review of the regime governing unresponsive occupiers which will require further regulations to fully implement; 
• provisions still to come into force and future developments (e.g. an updated Ofcom code of practice and imposing time limits on proceedings for Code renewals); and
• access to infrastructure regulations which will sit outside the Code.
