What's on the menu?
Our welcome address will be given by Sir Chris Bryant MP, Shadow Minister for Creative Industries and Digital. Chris will be giving his thoughts on how businesses can harness AI and digitalisation to help drive growth in the economy and improve public services, and the role governance and regulation can play.
Taking centre stage is our interactive supply chain due diligence workshop. Join us to talk about the fast-developing expectations and obligations on businesses to understand and take responsibility for their value chain. We will be seeking to demystify the jargon and the processes, pick out the key legal issues and consider the practical steps you can take to ensure your business is compliant.
The workshop session will cover:
- Supply chain mapping
- Collecting and evaluating the data
- Getting contractual clauses and relationships right
- Legal issues including sustainability and circular economy, forced labour, substantiation of green claims, cooperation with competitors and corporate reporting.
Alongside the workshop, we're also offering four roundtables on AI governance, whistleblowing procedures across UK and Europe, managing the first 24 hours of a regulatory investigation and the current and future landscape for sanctions.
