UK Knowledge Collection | Regulatory Outlook, ESG and telecoms
Published on 28th Feb 2025
Welcome to this week's Knowledge Collection

This week, the government responded to the recommendations of the Grenfell Final Report. Our Regulatory Outlook looks at some of the 37 measures the government announced it will adopt, and at the first steps it is taking to implement recommended changes to the fire safety regime.
Also this week, the European Commission announced its proposal for an "omnibus" package, designed to simplify corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence obligations on business. Our Insight looks at the planned reforms and their likely impact, our ESG Knowledge Update provides a summary of this and other recent developments, and our Regulatory Outlook looks ahead at further ESG developments including those in respect of modern slavery.
The February Regulatory Outlook covers 19 areas of business compliance, including product regulation, data law and telecoms regulation. Next month, we are also hosting events in these three areas: an in-person event in London on the application of data privacy law in the workplace; a webinar on the impact of the EU's General Product Safety Regulation on the fashion and luxury goods sector; and our annual communications review, taking place at our London office.
