Osborne Clarke has advised the new investors NordicNinja and DTCF (DeepTech & Climate Fund) as well as the existing investor Segenia Capital on the Series B financing round of the earth observation start-up LiveEO, totalling EUR 25 million. 

LiveEO from Berlin, founded in 2018 by Sven Przywarra and Daniel Seidel, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse satellite imagery and offers solutions for monitoring infrastructure, such as railway tracks and high-voltage power lines, as well as for compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation. Currently, LiveEO employs 130 international staff and has raised more than EUR 50 million in funding.

EUR 25 million of this was raised in the recently successfully completed Series B financing round: Led by DTCF and NordicNinja, the investors Segenia Capital, MMC Ventures, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH Ventures), Helen Ventures, Matterwave, motu ventures, Hannover Digital Investments and others are providing new funds to accelerate the development of LiveEO's innovative solutions and to expand the company's team and capabilities.

Osborne Clarke advised DTCF and NordicNinja under the lead of Fenja Striesow and Dr Benjamin Monheim (Partner responsibility) and Segenia Capital under the lead of Robin Eyben and Dr Paul Rhode (all Corporate / VC).
