AI Act compliance, employment law changes, and contingent worker supply chain risk

The EU has revised the compliance deadlines for its AI Act. The new timeframes will now be a couple of months later than initially expected. Our Insight sets out the new dates to be aware of, and our webinar next week will consider the impact of the new rules on different sectors, how UK businesses may be affected, and what they can do to prepare.

Change to employment law is expected after the UK general election, whatever its outcome. Our Insight looks at the employment, pension and business immigration proposals from the Conservative and Labour parties, and our post-election webinar will discuss what employers can anticipate from the next government.

Meanwhile, the risk to businesses of using contingent workers in the supply chain is significant, as there can be both tax and employment law issues which can transfer to the end user. Our webinar will outline the legal risk, the sanctions and consider the issue of misclassification of workers.
