International legal practice Osborne Clarke won three awards at the 2017 Insider South West Dealmaker awards.
Osborne Clarke was awarded Corporate Law Firm of the Year and the judges commented that it was the “breadth and complexity of the work carried out in the South West by Osborne Clarke’s corporate team” that stood out and impressed them.
The firm was also involved in the deal teams for the Deal of the Year award for the management buyout at Adey (advising LDC, the private equity sponsor), and Professional/Financial Services Deal of the Year award for the acquisition by Curtis Banks of Suffolk Life from Legal & General (advising Santander, the lender to Curtis Banks). Additionally, the firm was involved in two deals which made the shortlist for Small Deal of the Year, the investment in Direct Online (advising the investor Business Growth Fund (BGF)) and the management buyout of Kinneir Dufort (advising the Management Team).
