The firm's 12 days of Christmas programme raises funds to support local charities: Fareshare South West, St Mungo's and Launchpad
International legal practice Osborne Clarke is proud to announce its successful 12 days of Christmas charity fundraising programme has raised £13,939.50 to support charities across London, Reading and Bristol.
Colleagues from across Osborne Clarke's three UK offices donated money to take part in 12 days of Christmas events and raised £7,939.50 (including Gift Aid contributions) and Osborne Clarke's Charitable Trust also donated £6,000, making a grand total of £13,939.50, nearly £14k. This means each of the firm's three charities - Fareshare South West, St Mungo's and Launchpad - will receive £4,500+ to support their local efforts.
Kicking off at the start of December, the programme entailed nearly two weeks of festive fun including Osborne Lark - a comedy afternoon with four professional comedians, a live magic show with a professional magician, a merry little Quizmas (Christmas quiz), #StepstoSanta walking challenge and a virtual Christmas Jumper Day.
The Firm also collaborated with local Bristolian Firm Burges Salmon to do a virtual carol service complete with a brass band, which was featured alongside other choirs in The Lawyer Magazines' #lawagainstloneliness special Christmas Concert 2020.
