The Association with Koh Vass forms a key part of Osborne Clarke’s expansion plans in Asia Pacific.
Simon Beswick, CEO of Osborne Clarke’s international organisation says: “This is a powerful step in our plans to serve clients in Asia Pacific and builds upon our close working relationship with BTG Legal in India, formed by the previous head of our India Group, Prashant Mara. This Association ensures that we are not just meeting clients’ needs across Europe but in Asia too.
“The team’s sector focused approach and deep knowledge of the Asian markets strengthens our ability to provide clients insightful advice in an often complex international business environment.”
John Koh, Managing Partner, Koh Vass, commented: “Osborne Clarke is a firm at the cutting edge. Their reputation as a leading tech, media and comms firm and in other sectors says it all.
“My colleagues and I have many years’ experience in the tech, media and comms sector as well as acting for retail and other clients. Entering into an Association with Osborne Clarke was a natural decision as the two firms have natural synergies, which fits with our clients’ expectations. A sector based approach has always been critical to the way we operate and is fundamental to Osborne Clarke’s business too.”
