Osborne Clarke has appointed two Counsels in Germany, effective from July 1, 2018. Dr Philipp Reeb focuses on in M&A transactions and Dr Viktoria Winstel specializes in individual and collective employment law.

Dr Philipp Reeb (35) advises companies on corporate law matters, with a particular focus on corporate transactions and restructuring measures. He mainly advises on renewable energy projects as well as on acquisitions in connection with insolvency. He studied in Bayreuth and Freiburg and joined the Cologne office in 2015.
Dr Viktoria Winstel (32) advises companies on individual and collective employment law. She particularly focuses on protection of continuance and protection from dismissal, contract formation, expert recruitment, and cross-border employee secondment. She studied in Trier and joined the Cologne office in 2013.
This takes the total number of fee earners at Osborne Clarke in Germany to 48 Partners, 16 counsel and more than 150 lawyers in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich. Osborne Clarke has over 1.000 lawyers in 25 international offices.
The German teams have recently advised, among others, ProSiebenSat.1 on the sale of weg.de and on the acquisition of esome, Grifols on the acquisition of Haema, Kathrein on its conversion into a European company (SE) and group restructuring, Sodexo group on collective bargaining, Carlsberg Deutschland Holding GmbH on individual and collective employment law matters and Tech Mahindra GmbH on outsourcing projects.
