International legal practice Osborne Clarke has strengthened its Corporate and Venture Capital team with the appointment of Robin Eyben, effective from February 1, 2018. He will join the Berlin office as a Partner from Morrison & Foerster.
Robin will work closely with Venture Capital Partner, Nicolas Gabrysch, who will continue working from Berlin. His Berlin team also expects to appoint another Associate in March this year. Employment Partner Dr Anke Freckmann and Senior Associate Sylvia Wörz also moved to Berlin last Autumn.
Managing Partner, Carsten Schneider, commented: “We are pleased to have gained Robin who fits in very well with his focus on transactions, particularly in the area of Venture Capital.” The Berlin office is being expanded further. “Our new office at Schinkelplatz has sufficient space for further lawyers”, he added.
Robin Eyben has special expertise in the technology sector and advises investors from the USA, Asia and Europe, particularly on financing and the acquisition of companies. He works closely with start-ups and founders throughout the lifecycle of their business from creation to exit, in particular on advising on financing and strategic acquisitions, growth and expansion.
Robin Eyben commented: „Technology transactions, Osborne Clarke and Berlin – it all fits together perfectly. I look forward to developing the firm’s Berlin office together with the ambitious entrepreneurial team.”
