The firm extended its consulting service in various segments. At the beginning of this year, Osborne Clarke appointed three new Partners in Germany: Christoph Boeminghaus (Distribution law), Dr Karsten Lisch (Procurement law), and Dr Benjamin Monheim (Corporate). In addition, Antje Günther (Finance) and Dr Matthias Kloth (IP) also joined the firm as lateral hires. In Germany Osborne Clarke recently advised, among others, Bellevue on the acquisition of StarCapital, Smartclip on its sale to RTL, CHORUS Clean Energy on the acquisition of wind park ‘Appeln’, GVA in a successful proceeding regarding access to manufacturer’s databases, Cartel Damage Claims (CDC) in a landmark case about cartel compensation, and Grifols on the construction of its headquarter office in Germany.
