Osborne Clarke is growing its Berlin office by moving to a new address in Schinkelplatz.
The firm will continue its expansionary course in the capital’s dynamic growth markets, particularly in venture capital. Osborne Clarke is a market leader in advising financial and strategic investors as well as start-ups. The firm recently bolstered its corporate and venture capital team with the appointment of transaction specialist, Robin Eyben. The starting team consists of employment Partner Dr Anke Freckmann and, initially, three additional Associates.

From here, the firm will further boost its business development profile, particularly in the tech, media and comms, health and real estate sectors.

Osborne Clarke has offices in Hamburg, Cologne and Munich with over 140 lawyers providing commercial cross-border legal advice. The firm has over 1000 lawyers across 25 locations in Asia, Europe and USA.
In Germany the firm has recently advised, among others, N26 on the closing of its series C $160 million financing round, Grifols on the acquisition of all shares in Haema AG for EUR 220 million, ProSiebenSat.1 on sale of weg.de to Lastminute.com and Caruso GmbH on the development of its data marketplace for the automotive aftermarket.
Osborne Clarke was awarded Law Firm of the Year 2017 in IT and distribution and trade and logistics law at the Juve Awards 2017. The firm was also shortlisted for ‘Law Firm of the Year’ as well as for 'Best Law Firm' in the media and technology and competition law categories.
