Osborne Clarke in Amsterdam has advised ASN Beleggingsinstellingen Beheer B.V. on the split-up of a listed umbrella fund into listed UCITS and AIF umbrella funds.
ASN Beleggingsinstellingen Beheer B.V. (part of the Volksbank group) manages more than € 3.8 billion in assets divided among twelve listed SRI and impact funds.
Osborne Clarke in Amsterdam advised ASN Beleggingsinstellingen Beheer B.V. on a licence application to manage UCITS; and in the split-up of the listed ASN Beleggingsfondsen N.V. into a separate UCITS umbrella (ASN Beleggingsfondsen UCITS N.V.) and an AIF umbrella (ASN Beleggingsfondsen AIF N.V.). To further implement the partial transition to the UCITS regime, the Osborne Clarke in Amsterdam team also advised on the restructuring of a number of investment pools managed by ASN Beleggingsinstellingen Beheer B.V. The units of ASN Duurzaam Obligatiefonds, ASN Milieu & Waterfonds, ASN Duurzaam Aandelenfonds and ASN Duurzaam Small & Midcapfonds can now be offered relatively easily in other EU Member States.
