International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised StarLeaf Limited on their $40m Series B fundraising from Grafton Capital and Highland Capital Partners Europe.
Founded in 2008, StarLeaf is a global video conferencing provider and manufacturer with a comprehensive range of tools that provide video for meeting rooms, desktops and mobile use. The new funding will support growth in primary markets of Europe and North America, and accelerate expansion into Asia Pacific.
Marking the first external investment in StarLeaf, senior stakeholders at Highland Europe and Grafton Capital will become non-executive directors in the video conferencing business.
Key client Partner, Dr Janita Good commented: “StarLeaf is a dynamic fast-growth business that has gone from strength to strength. Having followed the business since it was set up, it’s great to now see them expanding internationally to capitalise on worldwide demand in video conferencing. Today’s companies want easy-to-operate stress-free tools that will support their employees and clients alike.”
The Osborne Clarke Corporate team that advised StarLeaf was led by Partner Dr Janita Good, who was assisted by Associate Alex Pritchard.
