Osborne Clarke in Sweden has advised the Helsinki based Sparkmind.vc on its investment in Dugga, a Swedish provider of digital knowledge assessment solutions for K12 schools and universities.
The learning sector-focused venture capital company, Sparkmind.vc, led a$5.1m A round for Dugga and the raised capital is focused on further accelerating Dugga’s international growth. The cash injection will enable the company to pursue new opportunities especially in the US, the UK and selected Asian countries funding hires in sales and marketing.
The investment is the sixth from the fast growing Sparkmind.vc’s learning-focused venture capital fund. Earlier investments include CanopyLAB, Fuzu, School Day, Kide Science, and Playvation. Sparkmind.vc is the first Nordic venture capital company exclusively focused on the learning sector (EdTech). The company invests from Seed to Series B stages in teams transforming how the world learns.
