International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the Senior Management team of OrthoD Group on its buyout funded by healthcare specialist Apposite Capital.
The deal provides a successful exit for previous investors, Riverside Europe Partners LLP (the European arm of The Riverside Company the global private equity firm focused on making control and non-control investments in growing businesses valued at up to $400 million), almost 10 years to the day following its first investment in OrthoD.
OrthoD specialises in the supply of surgical products, sports medicine, joint reconstruction and infection control and has a distributor presence in over 50 countries around the globe.
The MBO of OrthoD is the latest in a series of successful and high profile management advisory roles completed by Osborne Clarke’s specialist Management Advisory Team including the MBO's of TTC Group, Mike Collins & Company, Catalyst Development and Halo Technologies.
The Osborne Clarke team who advised on the deal was led by Partner Mark Spinner, supported by Senior Associate Tian Tang and Associate Kate Robinson.
