International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and a significant co-investor on a $47.9m funding round for MOVE Guides, a technology platform that powers the mobile workforce so that companies can get the right people in the right place.

NEA is a global venture firm that invests across multiple stages, sectors and geographies. Their investment will help to fund MOVE Guide’s continued expansion, which during 2016, saw the fast-growing company achieve 200% annual growth across 200 countries.

NEA is a valued client of Osborne Clarke, and the team has previously advised NEA on prior funding rounds. The Corporate team who advised on the transaction were led by Partner Robert Wood who was assisted by Senior Associate Katherine Cunningham, Associate Alec Bartlett and Associate Helen Dobson.

Osborne Clarke is one of the leading upper mid-market players in the UK, and increasingly European, corporate legal markets with a strong pipeline of corporate business spanning from private equity to M&A and public companies. Nationally the firm achieved a top-ten ranking for UK mid-market M&A and a top-20 ranking for European mid-market M&A according to Thomson Reuter’s research, while recent Mergermarket figures reported the firm in the top 15 by volume for all UK M&A.
