International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the management team of MThree Corporate Consulting Limited (MThree) on the investment by ECI Partners in MThree. The company will continue to be led by founder and CEO, Alex Headley.
Global technology consultancy MThree works with financial services organisations and tech companies to provide expert technology capability. This is underpinned by its innovative ‘Alumni’ brand, which provides tailored sourcing and development of high-performing STEM graduates for global clients across banking and other business sectors.
Founded in 2010, MThree today employs more than 500 people with offices in six countries and across three continents. The investment from ECI will enable the Company to accelerate its organic growth strategy and international expansion.
The deal is the latest in a series of high profile management buyouts the Osborne Clarke team have worked on this year, including the MBOs of Fitness Hut, Synova Capital, Cloud Savings Company,OrthoD and T&G.
Senior Partner Andrew Saul, Associate Director Tom Try and Senior Associate Akshay Agrawal advised on the sale. Partner Russell Van Praagh and Senior Associate Sarah Crabtree advised on equity, Partner Erika Jupe and Associate Luolan Dong on tax and Associate Lara Flynn advised on employment matters.
The management team of MThree were also advised by Lincoln International.
