International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Mobeus Equity Partners as it takes a minority position in the international public policy firm, Access Partnership, with an investment of £13.1 million.
Access Partnership provides advisory services to many of the world’s largest technology companies on matters ranging from data policy to infrastructure regulation and compliance; Mobeus’s investment will enable the consultancy to expand its services both geographically and to the growing number of verticals affected by changing data rules.
Multinational firms not previously considered technology companies are increasingly affected by the scale and scope of regulatory and technology change. Access’s positioning at the heart of these complex issues coupled with its deep understanding of both policy and technical aspects of dataflows and data delivery systems has driven the company’s rapid growth, with revenues doubling over the last three years.
The Osborne Clarke team who advised was led by Private Equity Partner Tim Hewens. Tim was supported by Senior Associate Seamus McKimm, Associate Director Sarah Crabtree, Associate Charles Sunley, and Trainee Solicitor Georgie Taylor (all private equity). In addition to Associate Bridget Baillie (tax), Associate Director Victoria Dingle (banking), Associate Isobel Turner and Senior Associate Prianca Patel (both employment).
Osborne Clarke is considered a go-to practice for digital transformation advising clients from digital sector leaders to disruptive start-ups. We use our expertise to support clients as they implement technology and digitalise processes.
