International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the founders of cybersecurity consultancy Intragen Holdings on an investment from FPE Capital, a UK mid-market private equity house.

Founded in 2006, Intragen has achieved rapid growth and operates from offices in the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland. The business provides Identity and Access Governance consulting and implementation services to businesses across northern Europe and partners with market leading software vendors One Identity and Ping Identity, as well as utilising its own software tools and IP. FPE plans to partner with the founders and existing management team to help the business to continue its rapid growth trajectory and international expansion.

The transaction sees the founders, Ian Yoxall and Mike Jones, retain a significant minority stake and leadership roles in the business. FPE's investment follows the conclusion of a competitive process that Osborne Clarke was first instructed on in August 2017.

Partner Russell van Praagh and Associate Directors Mike Freer and Pippa Byrne led the transaction, supported by Senior Associate William Nicolson (Corporate), Associate Hannah Rossi (Corporate) and Lara Flynn (Employment). Partner David Nisbet and Senior Associate Luolan Dong advised on tax. Osborne Clarke in the Netherlands Partner Herke van Hulst advised on Dutch corporate aspects.
