Osborne Clarke advised DTCP on the investment in the enterprise architecture software company LeanIX as part of the USD 80 million Series D funding. The round was led by new investor Goldman Sachs Growth and included previous investors Insight Partners and DTCP. The Osborne Clarke team consisted of Nicolas Gabrysch (Corporate/VC, lead) and Nicole Preuß (Corporate). Alexander Lippert, vice president at Goldman Sachs Growth, will join LeanIX’s board of directors.
With Series D, LeanIX's total funding is more than USD 120 million, which the company plans to use to continue international growth and to further develop its complementary solutions for cloud governance. In the last 12 months the company has opened new offices in Munich/Germany, Utrecht/Netherlands and Hyderabad/India. The company was founded out of Bonn, Germany in 2012 and now has 230 employees worldwide.
LeanIX offers Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for managing Enterprise Architecture and multi-cloud environments to enable organizations to take faster, data-driven decisions in their IT. The solution lets enterprises map out all of the legacy software or modern SaaS that the organisation is run on.
