Osborne Clarke has advised Capnamic Ventures on its EUR 3 million investment in Aifora GmbH. The fresh capital will be used for the further development of the technology and for expansion into new markets.
Aifora was founded in February 2018 by Thomas Jesewski and David Krings. The Düsseldorf-based start-up offers retailers and brands SaaS solutions that use artificial intelligence to increase sales and margins and reduce inventory. For this purpose, Aifora evaluates the data of corporate customers in real-time and uses this information to create forecasts of consumer purchasing behaviour.
Capnamic Ventures is a venture capitalist founded in 2013 with offices in Cologne and Berlin, which invests in both the B2B and B2C sectors. The company focuses on early stage start-ups from growth areas such as mobile, software-as-a-service, IoT, finTech, mobility or eHealth.
An Osborne Clarke team led by corporate and venture capital partner Nicolas Gabrysch advised Capnamic Ventures on the investment. The team included Konstantin Ewald, Judith Hoffmann, Felix Hilgert (all IT) and Sonja Riedemann (Employment)
