Ralph Lim, Partner OC Queen Street, commented: “Dax brings a strong and varied skill set that is great fit for us. He will essentially form a bridge between our two key sectors; working closely with me on Corporate M&A matters and advising Tech, Media and Comms clients alongside our other founding Partner Chia-Ling. We both look forward to working with him to support the needs of our local and global clients.”
In addition to the new senior appointment, the OC Queen Street team is moving to a cutting-edge office in the heart of Raffles Place. Based in the centre of the business district at One Raffles Place Tower 2, the high-spec space will be open plan and operate a sit anywhere, work anywhere culture.
Chia-Ling Koh, Partner OC Queen Street, commented: “We wanted our new office to be indicative of our firm’s reputation, which is approachable and unstuffy. So our new offices will be open plan where all colleagues, regardless of level, will work side-by-side. We feel this will boost interaction, cross-team working and ultimately enhance the level of service to our clients.”
OC Queen Street launched a formal association with international legal practice Osborne Clarke, in August 2016. The association forms a key part of Osborne Clarke’s Asian expansion plans, which also include an association with Koh Vass & Co in Hong Kong, which was started in 2015 and the firm’s close working relationship with BTG Legal in India that began in 2014.
