International law practice Osborne Clarke advised Clarivate on their acquisition of darts-ip.

Darts-ip is a Belgian company with a unique database providing global information and analytics to support IP prosecution and litigation activities. The platform offers insights into IP rights, companies, jurisdictions, legal topics, and market trends. Darts-ip was recently awarded best legal tech company by Trends Legal Awards in Belgium. Clarivate provides insights and analytics to support a range of intellectual innovations, partnering with universities, nonprofits, funding organizations, publishers, corporations, government organizations and law firms. This is the third recent IP acquisition by Clarivate as part of its growing investment in providing solutions at every point in the innovation life cycle.

The Osborne Clarke team was led by Corporate partner David Haex (Belgium) and included Associate Frank Hoogendijk (Corporate, Belgium), Partner Benjamin Docquir (IP/IT, Belgium) and Partner Thierry Viérin (Employment, Belgium).
