Victoria Gwynedd-Jones

Victoria is a Legal Director in the Commercial team.
Victoria specialises in complex contracting. She regularly drafts and advises on high value commercial agreements, such as distribution arrangements, agency relationships, manufacture and supply agreements, master services agreements, and framework procurement agreements, acting for both suppliers and customers. She provides practical advice on thorny contractual terms including indemnities, liability provisions, retention of title clauses, termination rights and variations. She has extensive experience of advising on technology transactions such as IT outsourcings, cloud services agreements and licensing arrangements, as well as providing associated regulatory and IP advice. Victoria also advises clients on contractual mechanisms which can be put in place to "green" their supply chain and encourage climate conscious contracting.
Victoria was also the Commercial Knowledge Lawyer at OC for 10 years, focusing on ensuring technical excellence across the Commercial teams by drafting and maintaining precedents, providing legal training (both internally, and regularly for clients), enabling the sharing of legal knowledge across the group and answering technical queries about law and practice. Technical excellence remains at the centre of her practice.
