Veronica is a specialist regulatory lawyer with a focus on corporate compliance with sustainability legislation.
She specialises in helping clients prepare for growing change around sustainability legislation and policy. Veronica often advises manufacturers and distributors of retail and consumer products, who are affected by complex UK and EU packaging, waste management, deforestation, corporate due diligence, right to repair, chemical phase-out and consumer safety legislation. She has a particular interest in novel products and foods that deploy new tech to solve problems of resource scarcity.
Veronica has been responsible for project managing several global reviews of how current and forthcoming ESG legislation will affect a particular product or business. She is passionate about working with clients to ensure they are comfortable with the regulatory landscape in their target countries and liaising with local counsel to provide practical solutions. Veronica enjoys supporting all areas of the businesses, often working side-by-side with key functions to develop, stress-test and action long-term corporate sustainability strategies.
