Veda Frese

Veda advises national and international companies as an IT lawyer with a particular interest in AI law, the complexities of IT contract law, and Open Source Software Compliance (OSS). She specialises in AI compliance and stays up to date with all related regulations.

Her work encompasses a broad range of IT-related legal matters, from drafting and negotiating IT contracts to advising on compliance with existing AI regulations. Her mandates span the tech and media sectors, as well as mobility and infrastructure, and extend to other sectors as needed.

Veda studied law in Frankfurt am Main, followed by a focus on media law at Humboldt University in Berlin. During this time, she worked at a boutique law firm specialising in copyright and trademark law and completed various internships in related fields. During her legal traineeship, Veda also worked for a law office in South Africa and expanded her focus to IT law, in which she now specialises.
