Sam is an Associate in our Intellectual Property team. He advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including patent disputes, brand protection and copyright infringement claims.
Having trained at Osborne Clarke, Sam qualified in September 2024. He has wide-ranging interests, and has worked with clients across the Life Science & Healthcare, Retail & Consumer and TMC sectors.
Sam has worked on secondment at BioNTech SE and The Advanced Research and Invention Agency.
Prior to training as a lawyer, Sam completed degrees in International Relations and Politics at the University of St Andrews and the University of Cambridge.

I am passionate about improving access both to justice and to the legal profession. Consequently, alongside my client work, I regularly support across a range of pro bono and diversity initiatives. This includes advising at the South Westminster Legal Advice Clinic and participating in Osborne Clarke's Social Diversity network.
