Peter Mills

Peter is a Legal Director in our Banking and Finance team. He focuses on structured finance transactions.

Peter has extensive experience advising on structured finance transactions, including:

• Securitisations (including a wide range of private warehouse and mezzanine structures, as well as public transactions).
• Forward flow transactions (with and without leverage).
• Speciality finance (particularly borrowing base funding structures for alternative lenders).
• Loan portfolio sales.

Peter advises on transactions in relation to a broad range of asset classes, including mortgage loans (including a wide range of specialist mortgage products), consumer and SME loans (with a particular focus on fintech companies and online lending platforms), credit cards, automotive receivables, and other specialist and esoteric asset classes. 

In addition to structured finance, Peter also advises on broader finance and debt capital markets transactions.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Peter spent ten years in a leading structured finance practice at a large international firm in the City.

Peter has also undertaken secondments to a major international investment bank and to the finance company of a global automotive group.
