Olivier is a Counsel and heads the tax practice in Brussels.
Olivier has extensive knowledge of Belgian and international tax law. His practice covers the full range of business tax matters with a specific focus on the sectors of Life Sciences and Healthcare and Tech, Media and Comms.
Olivier regularly advises both Belgian and international clients on various tax aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions, structurings and reorganisations, compensation & benefits-related tax issues with a specific expertise regarding stock-option plans. He also assists clients in applying for and obtaining tax rulings and conducting negotiations with the tax authorities. Olivier regularly advises international non-profit organisations on direct and indirect tax matters.
Prior joining Osborne Clarke in September 2016, Olivier gained experience working for leading Belgian tax law boutiques.
He holds a Master's degree from the Catholic University of Louvain, an advanced Master's degree in Tax from the École Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales (ICHEC - Brussels) and an advanced Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp.
