Mike Zheng

Mike is a senior corporate and commercial lawyer with over a decade of experience in cross-border transactions. He advises both Chinese and international clients on critical legal and business matters relating to China.

Mike has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate transactions and compliance matters. He provides pragmatic advice to multinational companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, cross-border guarantees, contract management, and commercial disputes across industrial sectors, with a special focus on the technology, automotive, healthcare, and life science sectors. He also guides Chinese corporations on outbound investments and dispute resolution overseas.

In addition to his corporate practice, Mike regularly advises international clients on China's emerging data protection regime and its impact on business.

Mike received his LLB and LLM from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, where he was a winner of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Scholarship.
